The information in these “predictions” centers around how vulnerable companies are feeling to cyber attack – particularly from within. I thought the increase internal vulnerability was interesting especially in light of one recent statistic that I heard.   In a 2015 presentation, the number 2 at the Smithsonian’s Office of Protection Services quoted an FBI statistic that upwards of 93% of art theft was from an “insider” (an employee or visitor granted access to specific pieces). The percentage of internal cyberthieves (or attackers) seems to be catching up to their reality counterparts.
